Samar State University, through the leadership of University President Dr. Redentor S. Palencia, extends its support by providing the venue for the graduation ceremony of the training program entitled “General Virtual Assistance 2.0: A Paradigm Shift in AI-Powered Interaction”, held at the Research Innovation Center – Audio-Visual Center (RIC-AVC), on Tuesday, June 23, 2026. The event honored its pioneering batch of trainees, with 6 out of 25 successfully hired during the training.
SSU continues to uphold its commitment to fostering “advanced digital and artificial intelligence-abled skills to enhance their employability and competitiveness in the evolving digital economy” and to supporting the Provincial Government of Samar led by Governor Sharee Ann T. Tan, alongside Provincial Government Department Head (PESO Manager) John Michael G. Cristobal, in their “human capital development initiatives”.
