CATBALOGAN CITY, Philippines – SSU’s Director for Samar Island GIS and Data Analytics Center (SIGISDAC), Engr. Raven C. Tabiongan, served as the resource speaker of the Department of Information and Communications Technology’s (DICT) Start-Up Webinar – Design Thinking held on April 19, 2024, via Zoom Web Conferencing.
Engr. Tabiongan’s lecture on “Design Thinking: Simplified! Overview and Toolkit” focused on the background and approaches to design thinking, its practical applications, advantages and disadvantages, and the tools employed in the design thinking process.
DICT’s Start-Up Webinar is a start-up activity aimed at emphasizing the value of start-ups as a major contributor to the Information Technology and Business Process Management (IT-BPM) industry in the Philippines. The seminar was participated by a total of 100 faculty and students from different regions in the country.
