SSU officially opens new CAS Academic Building

CATBALOGAN CITY – “This was a dream turned into reality and my heart is just full of gratitude,” said the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) – Dr. Florabelle B. Patosa, in her ‘Thank You’ speech a during the Turnover Ceremony  of the new CAS Academic Building on September 15 (22).

The event started with the prayer blessing and benediction of the building’s classrooms and offices officiated by Rev. Fr. Jose Peru.

Present during the ribbon cutting and the turnover of the symbolic key  were the University President Dr. Marilyn D. Cardoso, Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Felisa E. Gomba, Vice President for Research and Extension Services Dr. Ronald L. Orale, and Dumduma Construction and Trading Corporation Vice President for Operations Engr. Rafael Julius S. Balan.

The four-storey academic building will be fully utilized starting this semester as the University re-opens doors for face-to-face classes on a flexible modality.
