CATBALOGAN CITY – Key officials of Samar State University (SSU) joined the kick-off session of the Webinar on Positive Leadership Course and Leadership in Crisis Situations on September 7 (22) at the 3rd Floor SSU Convention Center focused on “building positive leadership and organizational culture”.
The University President Dr. Marilyn D. Cardoso, Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Felisa E. Gomba, Vice President for Administration and Finance Dr. Gina U. Españo, Vice President for Research and Extension Services Dr. Ronald L. Orale, Vice President for Student Affairs and Services Engr. Ma. Lourdes P. Amante together with the Directors, Unit Heads, Deans/Campus Directors, and Associate Deans were present during the event.
Serving as the sole speaker for the six-day course is the Positive Workplaces, Chief People, Positivity & Progress Officer Mr. Jericho Capinpin.
Positive Workplaces is a training and consulting company which aims to empower individuals to work towards their wellbeing and contribute towards building Positive Filipino Workplaces.
“We aim to enhance the well-being of the Filipino workforce including those who are in the Higher Education, believing that ‘positive change starts from within’,” said Mr. Capinpin.
The training will continue on September 8-9, 12-14 (22).
