CATBALOGAN CITY – The Dean of Samar State University -College of Education (SSU-CoEd) Dr. Laura B. Boller takes a new role as the Chair of the Philippine Association for Teachers and Educations (PAFTE) Inc. Region VIII as she took oath of office during the Induction of Regional Officers on June 12 (22) via Zoom.
PAFTE is an organization for teacher educators which aims to promote the professional development of teachers and Dr. Boller takes the task to lead the region in continuing the PAFTE vision of building a community of world class teacher educators for CY 2022-2024.
Also among the newly-inducted Executive Officers were Dr. Perlita Vivero of Leyte Normal University (LNU) as Vice Chair, Ms. Rochelle T. Cervantes of Visayas State University (VSU)-Tolosa as Secretary, Dr. Rey Anthonie D. Alvez of Eastern Samar State University (ESSU) as Treasurer, Dr. Jennifer A. Gorumba of Palompon Institute of Technology (PIT) as the Public Relations Officer, Dr. Berverly B. Fernandez of Saint Joseph College (SJC) as Board Member, and Dr. Marife N. Daga of LNU as Adviser and Former Chair.
