Let’s look back to what had happened during the Rededication Ceremony of Dr. Marilyn D. Cardoso, the University President of Samar State University, as she embodied the theme Profectus et Triumphus – Celebrating Progress, Triumphing Excellence. 
“At this moment, after 34 years of service in Samar State University and after about five years of being the torchbearer of the University, I celebrate progress, development, possibilities, and opportunities with Samar State University,” she stated.
