TRA VINH, VIETNAM─ In its commitment to uphold intellectual property rights and sustain a good web of networks and linkages, Samar State University (SSU) through its three (3) faculty confirmed the invitation of Tra Vinh University in Vietnam to conduct IP Trainings on December 11-16 (23).
ITSO Director Dr. Vivian L. Moya, Head of Innovation Services Engr. Nikko Ardel P. Floretes, and Head of Commercialization Services Engr. Jan Floro S. Bautista delivered lectures on Patent Search, Patent Drafting, and Intellectual Property Valuation after being invited by TVU during their visit to SSU early this year.
With all expenses shouldered by TVU including travel and accommodation, Dr. Moya couldn’t be more grateful for the opportunity as she posted a message on social media on December 9.
“SSU- ITSO Team is going international. Thank you for the trust Tra Vinh University. See you in a while Vietnam,” expressed Dr. Moya.
This visit will not only entail technical linkages but will also result to cultural exchanges and partnerships beyond the IP protection landscape as both Universities value internationalization to promote social transformation.
