President Cardoso Joins Philippine Delegation at the QS Higher Ed Summit

KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA─ Sharing the same goal of promoting the country’s academic excellence, fostering international partnerships, and sharing insights into the challenges and innovations in the Philippine Higher Education (PHE) landscape, Samar State University (SSU) President Dr. Marilyn D. Cardoso joins other PHE Institutions’ thought leaders and academicians at the QS Higher Ed Summit: Asia Pacific yesterday, November 7 (23), at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Organized by the QS with its Organizing Partner, the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, and its Co-Host, the Applied Science Private University, the summit primarily aims to bridge universities and industries in a way that benefits both parties, preparing students for the workforce of the future through more thoughtful and innovative teaching methods.

Highlight of the event includes the awarding of HEIs ranked by QS where SSU will be one of the recipients being rated for excellence with 3 Stars this March 2023.

The summit will run until Thursday, November 9 (23), and surely PHE leaders will bring with them home strategies and solutions that will serve as a guide in the pursuit of a more innovative and resilient Philippine educational system.
