CATBALOGAN CITY─ Marking a significant recognition of the dedicated efforts of government agencies in ensuring quality service to their employees, the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) Catbalogan held an Awarding Ceremony with Samar State University (SSU) as one of the 10 Top Agency Awardees during the AAOs & ERF Handlers Re-orientation Seminar on July 28 (23) at the New Maqueda Bay Hotel.
Mandated to provide and administer social security benefits for government employees including compulsory life insurance, optional life insurance, retirement benefits, disability benefits for work-related contingencies and death benefits, the Top Agency Award is befitted to government offices that have demonstrated exceptional performance in promoting and implementing various GSIS programs and services.
Attended by GSIS Catbalogan Branch Manager, Ms. Romella M. Cinco, SSU’s award was received by SSU’s Human Resource Management Office staff, Mr. Edwin M. Austero.
With this Award, SSU shall continue to collaborate with GSIS in delivering valuable services to its employees, thereby enhancing their financial security and well-being.
