CATBALOGAN CITY – Samar State University (SSU) through the Human Resource Management Office (HRMO) honoured its public servants through an Appreciation Program on September 30 (22) at the SSU Gymnasium, in celebration of the 122nd Philippine Civil Service Anniversary.
First to commend the employees was the University President, Dr. Marilyn D. Cardoso, who expressed her gratitude to the ‘passionate innovators, builders and servers’ of the University.
Also present during the event were the Vice President for Administration and Finance Dr. Gina U. Españo, Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Felisa E. Gomba, and the HRM Officer Ms. Junelle R. Guerra.
During the program, the employees were serenaded as tribute to their dedication in serving the government which was followed by a Zumba dance workout.
“Thank you SSU-HRMO for this activity. We appreciate you appreciating us,” said Ms. Elma Sultan, one of SSU’s personnel.
