TACLOBAN CITY – Mr. Jhonil C. Bajado, Samar State University-Museum and Archives Head, is now the Vice President of oldest museums’ organization in Eastern Visayas as announced on June 25 (22) during the Eastern Visayas Association of Museums (EVAM) Annual Assembly at Deskanso Café.
Mr. Bajado will hold office for a term of three years, from 2022-2024, together with other newly-elected officers from all over Region 8.
SSU has been an EVAM member since 2016 when Mr. Bajado was also elected as Samar provinces representative from 2016-2018.
EVAM is one of the nine (9) regional museum organizations affiliated with the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCAA) which aims to preserve local culture through careful documentation and artifact preservation.
