
CATBALOGAN CITY – The Commission on Higher Education Regional Office VIII (CHEDRO VIII) conducted a Remote Monitoring on Flexible Learning Implementation in Samar State University (SSU) on March 3-4 (22).
The team composed of Education Supervisors including Dr. Maria Mylah Javier, Dr. Leo D. Camposano, Dr. Catherine O. Iglesias, Mr. Cydric B. Suyom, and Engr. Nelly L. Labrada spearheaded the monitoring.
They evaluated the Institutional Profile, Components of Learning Continuity Plan, and List of Programs and Curricular Structure/Program of Study Modification of both SSU Main, Paranas Mercedes, and Basey Campuses.
During the monitoring, the CHEDRO VIII team members interviewed faculty across colleges and conducted a virtual inspection of the classrooms and buildings.
After their closed-door meeting, the monitoring team presented the results based on the virtual activity. In response, SSU gave its commitment to follow the recommendations given for the improvement of its flexible learning implementation.
