SSU undergoes 3rd ISO 9001:2015 QMS Surveillance Audit

CATBALOGAN CITY – Samar State University (SSU) underwent the third surveillance audit for its International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2015 QMS certification on October 18-19 (21) virtually.

After passing the second surveillance audit conducted by SOCOTEC Certification International formerly known as AJA Registrars, Inc. on 2020, SSU was recommended for recertification for the third time this year.

The external auditors reviewed all of the documentation in multisite coverage (Main, Mercedes and Paranas Campuses) along the following scope of registration: Management of Tertiary Educational System, Planning, Research and Extension Services, and Graduate School.

During the exit conference, the accreditation body reported the findings on the two-day virtual audit.

Ending the visit is SSU and its top management, key officials, teaching and non-teaching personnel’s commitment to ensure customer satisfaction, continuous improvement of systems, and conformity to legal and statutory requirements.
