3 SSU Faculty appointed as Young Research Fellows

 

CATBALOGAN CITY – Dr. Vivian L. Moya, Engr. Raven C. Tabiongan, and Engr. Nikko Ardel P. Floretes, faculty-researchers of Samar State University (SSU) were appointed as Young Research Fellows after they successfully completed the 3-month Pioneering Intellectual Property Program (PIP) of the Young Scientist Network (YSN) and Licensing Executives Society International (LESI).

The Pioneering IP Programme for ASEAN Young Scientists Network is a flagship programme of the YSN aiming to harness the talent and drive of young researchers to better understand intellectual property in the context of research.

Moya, Tabiongan and Floretes were trained on the fundamentals of IP knowledge and they were given a platform to engage with IP experts as they completed the eight 2-hour workshops over an approximate period of 3 months.

These three faculty-researchers will champion the realization of Science, Technology, Innovation (STI) potential in the region.
