SSU delivers 1st wave of LPs to municipalities

 

CATBALOGAN CITY – Samar State University (SSU), through the Vice President of Academic Affairs, Dr. Felisa E. Gomba, transported the learning packets to the municipalities of Jiabong, Motiong, Paranas, and Hinabangan this morning, September 9 (20).

Together with Dr. Gomba were Engr. Meddy Mangaring (Dean, College of Engineering), Dr. Elmer A. Irene (Director, International Affairs), Dr. Jonah Gay V. Pedraza (External Campus Coordinator), and the faculty assigned on the Academic Links/Kiosks of the aforementioned Local Government Units (LGUs) who made a courtesy call with the Mayors.

It is the 1st day of the distribution of learning materials to the students who have chosen Category 1 (Full Offline Mode) as part of the new normal in the University.

The learning packets, prepared by the faculty, would enhance independent and flexible learning amidst the COVID-19 crisis.

The delivery of the Learning Packet 1 will continue on the succeeding days to ensure that “no student will be left behind”.
