CATBALOGAN – College of Arts and Sciences Information Technology Education (CAS-ICT) department helped develop technologically-competent, and computer-literate and system servicing Out of School Youths (OSYs) of Brgy. Ibol during the Literacy Training for Computer System Servicing on July 6, 2018.
Pre-assessment was conducted before the IT instructors delivered series of talks.
Actual demonstration and hands-on activities has been done also facilitated by IT instructors.
After the training, post-assessment has been done. Open forum was also conducted and the participants showed interest in their learning.
With the said training, creation a pool of information technology education facilitators from the community to continue the programs shared by the proponents of the said activity from Samar State University will help shape the community.
Thirty participants attended the event with twenty (20) OSYs and ten (10) faculty facilitators.
