SSU’s Leap for Growth: The Closing Program of 2017 AACCUP Accreditation

CATBALOGAN CITY, Samar – The three-day AACCUP accreditation was put to close on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. in the Audio Visual Center which highlighted the delivery of syntheses of evaluation results with the stated strengths and recommendations for each area of the six curricular programs submitted for evaluation through the accreditation team spearheaded by the overall coordinator, Dr. Marcela T. Caluscosin. To her, the Samar State University’s leap for growth is seen, and encouraged SSU to keep it on.

The University President, Dr. Marilyn D. Cardoso pumped everyone’s spirits as she expressed her immense gratitude to both, the accreditors for their generosity, cheerfulness and contentment, to the SSU family as well, for the teamwork.  She further took part in stating the Pledge of Commitment together with the SSU personnel, stressing that SSU commits to continuously provide quality education and excellent services.

Afterwhich, the University President together with the three VP’s awarded the Plaque of Commendation to the accreditors for their competence and expertise extended to the Samar State University during the survey visit.

The audience was charmed and delighted when the voice talents of two SSU Chorale members took the floor and sang their duet rendition.

Dr. Lanie M. Pacadaljen, the Director for Quality Assurance gave her words of acknowledgement to all who made the survey visit successful, and to her, these people are such great blessings.

In closing, the Vice President for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Jose S. Labro, shared ‘Manuel Arguilla’s Advocacy and Maabilidad’ as the true essence of accreditation.

In the same afternoon, right after the closing program, the twenty AACCUP accreditors were fetched to be bound for Leyte Normal University for another accreditation undertaking.
