CATBALOGAN CITY – Samar State University (SSU) successfully completed the 2nd Surveillance Audit with no Non-Conformity (NC) to maintain its International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2015 certification.
SSU recently underwent a virtual surveillance audit of its quality management system to maintain confidence that the certified management system continues to fulfill requirements between certification audits.
The audit was conducted by the SOCOTEC Certification International (formerly AJA Registrars Inc.) on October 29-30, 2020 headed by the Lead Auditor, Dr. Mark Anthony Vera with Support Auditor Mariam Abuana, and Technical Expert Kevin Castillon.
The team audited the three campuses of the University, namely, SSU Main Campus, Mercedes Campus, and Paranas Campus in the scopes of Management of Tertiary Educational System, Planning, Research and Extension Services, and College of Graduate Studies.
The ISO certification is in recognition of SSU’s continuing efforts to improve the quality of its services to its clientele.
