TACLOBAN CITY – Acknowledging the milestone achieved by Samar State University (SSU) in the field of Human Resource Management, the University President, Dr. Marilyn D. Cardoso, was chosen as one of the learning consultants during the 2020 Regional Congress of Human Resource Management Practices with Future Trends and Challenges on February 26, 2020.
Dr. Cardoso talked on the topic “Revolutionizing Performance Management in Organizations” and she shared how the Human Resource Management Practitioners (HRMPs) will revolutionize the way they manage the performance of their employees through Continuous Performance Management approach.
She imparted her way of revolutionizing SSU which led to its conferment of being a PRIME-HRM Bronze Awardee and Third Place BEST EMPLOYER for CY 2018 – Government Category awarded by the PhilHealth Regional Office VIII.
The Civil Service Commission Regional Office VIII (CSC-RO VIII) tagged the congress with the theme “Bridging Leadership and Human Resource Management Practices with Future Trends and Challenges” and entitled the participants with 16 leadership training hours.
