CATBALOGAN CITY- The Young Southeast Asian Youth Leaders Initiative (YSEALI) alumni visited Samar State University (SSU) to talk to the campus’ student-leaders and encourage them to upscale their career through a seminar tagged as SIRANG KABATAAN last October 30, 2019 at the SSU Audio-Visual Center (AVC).
YSEALI is a US government-funded network which provides exchanges opportunity in the Philippines with more than 10,000 youth leaders working to solve common regional issues.
In partnership with the Career and Placement Services and PESO of the University’s Student Welfare and Development Services (SWDS), the speakers were able to reach almost 80 student-leaders to attend the information sharing and career development event.
Miss Mariel May Obregon, Engr. Jonh Rey Allequer, Miss Kiana Gualberto, and Miss Jeolyca Sescon served as the resource speakers of the event sharing their inputs on the YSEALI program and how important it is to know what career they’re aiming for.
Students were encouraged to join the YSEALI by signing up on its official website to get chances to fly abroad and to bring their advocacies to an international platform.
