Catbalogan City – SSU (Samar State University) Class of 1992, the host, commenced the week-long 41st Alumni Homecoming this morning, April 2, 2018, with the theme, “Homecoming of the Stars.”
The Homecoming started with a thanksgiving mass at the SSU Gymnasium, followed by a motorcade parade.
The motorcade was participated in by the alumni of the educational levels of SSU: high school, undergraduate, graduate (master’s), and post-graduate (doctorate).
Basketball goodwill games followed in the afternoon, and the Night Run of the Stars with a Twist at 7 PM. Participants of the run will use the distributed star icon masks.
