Samar State University (SSU) conducted a three-day activity on performance evaluation calibration and strategic planning for the administrative services of the University with the desire to further improve performance.
A total of forty-five college and campuses deans, directors, head of units, the vice presidents and the president of the University joined from October 21-23, 2016 at Caluwayan Resort Hotel in Marabut Samar.
Rey Albert B. Uy, Civil Service Commission (CSC) Samar Field Office director, acted as one of the resource persons.
The personnel from the administrative unit underwent a strategic planning activity, the last of the series of planning activities of SSU. Aside from looking for strategies on how to enhance administrative services, it also focused on how to achieve the performance indicators as stipulated in the SUC leveling guidelines. The strategic planning emphasized on human resources learning and development, resource generation, and productivity enhancement towards excellence services.
The Calibration of Performance Evaluation (COPE) is a regular activity recommended to enhance the system of evaluation used by government agencies like SSU.
