CATBALOGAN CITY, Philippines – The SSU TBI-Lambat (Local Alliance of Marine-based Businesses and Food Technology) joined the inaugural roadshow of Peddlr’s kankolek e-wallet held on April 12, 2024 at the SSU College of Arts and Sciences’ (CAS) Audio-Visual Center, Catbalogan City, Samar.
SSU TBI-Lambat, headed by Dr. Vivian L. Moya, was represented by SSU’s Director for Samar Island GIS and Data Analytics Center (SIGISDAC), Engr. Raven Tabiongan, who gave a message on mapping out strategic approaches to funding sources.
Alongside brief lectures on business-related topics, the roadshow mainly featured raffle activities and the actual demonstration of Peddlr’s kankolek service, an e-wallet solution that aims to encourage digital transactions among Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) through easier payment collections from banks or e-wallets.
The activity was held in partnership with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).
