MANILA, Philippines — The Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHL) once again recognized the Samar State University as a Platinum Awardee of 2023, the highest distinction given by the IPOPHL to high-performing Innovation and Technology Support Offices (ITSO) under the ITSO 2.0 Clustering Program. This is the fourth consecutive time that SSU received IPOPHL’s platinum award since 2020.
The award was received by the university’s ITSO Director, Dr. Vivian L. Moya, on March 18, 2024 at the ITSO President’s Summit in Dusit Thani Manila, Manila, Philippines alongside Engr. Raven Tabiongan and Engr. Nikko Ardel Floretes.
The Platinum Award is given by IPOPHL to institutions that exhibit exemplary accomplishments along patent inventions, technology and product commercialization, and IP-related services.
