SSU inks MOA with PAFCPIC Involving a Scholarship Program

CATBALOGAN CITY─ In a strong partnership to provide scholarship to students, Samar State University (SSU) entered into a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Philippine Army Finance Center Producers Integrated Cooperative (PAFCPIC) on September 29 (23) via a virtual signing Ceremony.

Through the scholarship program, a total of 15 indigent students enrolled under the three-year vocational course Competency-Based Vocational Education (CBVE) will be provided with Tuition and Miscellaneous Fees, Uniform Allowance, and Monthly/Living Allowance.

In its mission to deliver services responsive to the needs of its members, their families, and communities, through quality and prudent management, PAFCPIC commits to the agreement starting this SY 2023-2023 to SY 2025-2026.

Attended by PAFCPIC Chairperson Retired Brigadier General Francisco M. Paredes, Scholarship Committee Chairperson and PAFCPIC President Retired Brigadier General Fernando S. Zabat, and other Key Officials, the deal was sealed with SSU President Dr. Marilyn D. Cardoso, Vice President for Student Affairs and Services Engr. Ma. Lourdes P. Amante, Scholarship Coordinator Dr. Deppe Decena, Jr., and other personnel who were also in attendance.
