SSU Deers Overpower the University of Saint Joseph in Game 3

Zhengzhou, China─ Victory didn’t come as a surprise for the Samar State University (SSU) Deers as they throttle off the University of Saint Joseph Macao, China 120-17 in Game 3 yesterday, September 19 (23), during the Intercollegiate Basketball Tournament held in Sias University Gymnasium Complex, Zhengzhou, China.

Given the excellently calculated moves played on the road by the SSU Deers, the team stays alive in the playoffs.

“The team’s speed, endurance, and chemistry were remarkable,” Sports and Development, Culture and the Arts Program (SDCAP) Director and Team Coach Dr. Randy E. Pacadaljen commented on the Varsity’s edge.

With SSU Deers now in 3-0 in 5 road games in the tournament, they just have to keep the trend up in Game 4 today versus the Panpacific University Urdaneta City, Pangasinan, Philippines to carry the day.
