CATBALOGAN CITY— In a basketball tournament played between Samar State University (SSU) and St. Paul School of Professional Studies (SPSPS) and SSU and Leyte Normal University (LNU) during the Eastern Visayas Collegiate Athletic Association (EVCAA) 2023, the Tolipas duo helped the Varsity team win in the game beating SPSPS 86-68 on September 9 (23) and LNU 77-60 on September 10 (23).
The Tolipas duo are brothers from Paranas, Samar with Rogelio #6 taking up Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology major in Electrical and Albert Joshua #2 major in Automotive at SSU-Paranas Campus.
Serving as Shooting Guard and Point Guard, respectively, the two ‘Players of the Game’ underscore the importance of discipline during trainings and doing the best in every game.
Proud of each other, the brothers will continue dribbling the basketball for SSU and in the name of sports as the SSU Varsity team advances to the next round of the EVCAA tournament.
