CATBALOGAN CITY─ In an effort to foster global educational collaborations, Samar State University (SSU) inks Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with IES University of Bhopal, India yesterday, June 6 (23), via a virtual ceremony.
Attended by IESU Vice Chancellor Dr. S. K. Sohani and its Director for Corporate Communication Prof. Manisha Kawthekar and SSU Officer-In-Charge Vice President for Student Affairs and Services Engr. Ma. Lourdes P. Amante and its Director for International Affairs Dr. Elmer A. Irene, the MOU signing seals a shared commitment to enhance educational opportunities and cultural exchange.
This partnership is an outgrowth of the participation of SSU President Dr. Marilyn D. Cardoso and Dr. Irene at the International Innovation and Creativity Conclave V 2.0 on May 28-30 (23) at Andra Pradesh, India leading both Institutions to each other.
With specializations from their respective Universities, the two Institutions intend to join efforts in areas of mutual interests including faculty and student exchanges, joint research projects, and academic cooperation. This collaboration is expected to pave the way for a fruitful exchange of knowledge, experiences, and best practices that will enrich the educational experiences of students and faculty alike from both Universities.
