CATBALOGAN CITY─Hosted by Samar State University (SSU) Office of Executive Director for Research headed by Dr. Sherrie Ann Cananua-Labid, a conduct of the R&D Mid-year Assessment and Comprehensive Review of the R&D Manual and ISO Workflows and Forms was held at Haiyan Hotel and Resort, Tanauan Leyte today, June 6 (23).
Aimed to evaluate and improve SSU’s existing R&D processes and ISO compliance procedures, specifically seeking to: (1) Evaluate the current R&D Manual and ISO Workflow & Forms to identify gaps in the procedures and guidelines for managing research and development projects; (2) Develop recommendations for improving the R&D Manual and ISO Workflow & Forms to align R&D projects with the University’s strategic goals; (3) Identify areas where the R&D Manual and ISO Workflow & Forms can be integrated into automated workflow management systems to improve efficiency and reduce bottlenecks; (4) Establish a consistent and standardized approach to workflow management; and (5) Prepare a Revised R & D Manual, the event is graced by 15 participants including the Vice President for Research and Extension Engr. Mirador G. Labrador, Planning Management Officer Dr. Rodrigo Estrada, and Center Directors and Research Coordinators.
As the activity plays significant in ensuring that the University’s Research & Development Programs, Projects, and Activities are aligned to its strategic goals and quality management initiatives, the Performance Review will run until tomorrow, June 7 (23).
