Students, faculty explore global career opportunities through seminar, career advising program

Samar State University (SSU) graduating students and faculty “explored career path in the global market” through the career seminar and advising program hosted by the Office of International Affairs  (OIAs) and Student Welfare and Development Services (SWDS) under Career Services on April 26 (23) at the College of Arts and Sciences  Academic Building-AVC.

The seminar aimed to assist students in making informed career choices and exploring academic programs in various institutions in Australia and France. It featured speakers who discussed scholarship opportunities, student mobility programs, and best practices in higher education institutions in Australia and France.

The speakers at the event included Mr. Herbert T. Buena, Education Counsellor-Philippines of the Empire International Education and Visa Services, Ms. Czarelle Gay F. Fabregas, Mr. Mike Jay D. Isanan, and Ms. Tajana. The Campus France Manager-Philippines, Mr. Jehan Paulo Udani, also joined them to share valuable insights.

The seminar proved to be significant as students and the faculty gained information relative to exploring future careers and continuing education in a global setting.
