CATBALOGAN CITY─ Following the invitation from Karabuk University (UNIKA), Turkiye, President Marilyn D. Cardoso joined other Presidents a.ka. Rectors from Malaysia, Indonesia, India, Bangladesh, Qatar, Uzbekistan, Perugia, and Turkey in the FLSF 2023- 1st Futures Literacy and Strategic Foresight Conference in Safranbulo, Turkey on February 1-2 (23).
Dr. Cardoso raised the Philippine flag as she was the only presenter in the conference coming from the country. Specifically, she presented a paper co-authored with Dr. Ronald L. Orale, Dr. Rodrigo G. Estrada, and Dr. Redentor S. Palencia titled SSU SMART Campus: Future Proofing Samar State University through Digital Transformation.
This official business of the University President is part of the Capacity Building on Futures Thinking and Strategic Foresight of Samar State University (SSU) with its 4M provision (Year 2022 and 2023) granted through the office of Sen. Pia S. Cayetano.
