Samar State University provides free email to all students, faculty, and staff. The email system used is Google Workspace for Education, which is a cloud-based collaboration tool that includes Google Classroom, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Forms.

Getting Started with your SSU Mail Account:
Freshman students should have their account created upon enrollment. Follow the instructions below:
- Login with Gmail
- Know your email address – firstname.lastname@ssu.edu.ph (e.g. juan.delacruz@ssu.edu.ph)
- Know your password – Secret123# (May vary with your dept.)
- A password reset is prompted after logging in for the first time.
If you couldn’t find your Google Account, request for one at your Dean’s Office or the ICT Office.

- Your SSU Mail Account will be perpetually active.
- Need assistance? Visit your Dean’s Office or the ICT Office located at the 4th Floor, Research and Innovation (RIC) Building.
How to Reset your SSU Mail Password:
If you have provided a secondary email address or phone number, you can initiate a password reset without contacting your Dean’s Office or the ICT Office.
