CATBALOGAN CITY─ University President Dr. Marilyn D. Cardoso and Vice President for Research and Extension Services Dr. Ronald L. Orale participated in a Benchmarking and Study Tour sponsored by the Visayas Consortium for Agriculture, Aquatic, and Natural Resources Program (ViCARP) on December 12-15 (22) in Taiwan.
With other invited SUC Presidents and key officials, the program aims to enhance the country’s enabling mechanism for technology management and give technology transfer implementers the chance to learn about the finest strategies and case studies in agricultural research and technology management.
The Agricultural Research Institute, World Vegetable Center (Formerly Asian Vegetable Research and Development Center, Taiwan Agriculture Research Institute, and Food and Fertilizer Terminal were just few of the many sites visited by the delegates.

The travel of the two (2) Key Officials is also part of Samar State University’s internationalization operations and initiatives for the goal by 2040, that is, to be one of the Top 200 Universities in Asia.
