Samar State University-Paranas Campus conducted the Culminating Program for the Reading Month Celebration bearing the theme ” BASA, BAYAN, BUKAS” . To promote the love for reading and encourage the students to use the campus library, the campus joined the 88th National Book Week Celebration that aims to show the value of book and reading. The said program was hosted by Marvin Shane Dones and Jonathan Jacla a book lover member . The program started with the opening remarks given by Creative Writers President Mr. Marvin Shane Dones, he then expresses his heartfelt Gratitude to the students who have participated to the different Activities conducted during the Month long Celebration.
After the opening remarks was followed by the awarding of certificates and prizes to the participants assessed by Dr. Arnel N. Mabingnay. The Following are the activities conducted during the READING MONTH CELEBRATION.

The said activity was a success with the help of the different students organizations. The program ended with a closing remark given by the creative writers president he then quoted ” there is no friend as loyal as a book”.
