CATBALOGAN CITY – There is no turning back now with the new modalities of teaching and learning,” said the SSU President Dr. Marilyn D. Cardoso during the Opening Program of the University-Wide Annual Faculty Development Training (FDT) focused on the transition of SSU from traditional to Hybrid Flexible Learning or “HyFlex” Learning on August 1 (22) at the SSU Gymnasium.
During the week-long training, topics along HyFlex Fundamental Concepts, Creating the HyFlex Learning Environment, Infrastructure, and Digital Toolkit, Classroom Management and Community Building in a HyFlex Learning Environment, and Redesigning Courses for HyFlex Learning.

During the last day, the faculty presented their outputs across disciplines as they adapt Hybrid Flexible (HyFlex) Learning in the development of their respective syllabus.
The Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Felisa E. Gomba emphasized that the University will soon be fully implementing the learning model.
