CATBALOGAN CITY─ University President Dr. Marilyn D. Cardoso was among the 27 conferees of Profesor Ad Honorem Honoris Causa/Vitasta Ambassdor Distinction by the Universite Henry Dunant and awardees of the 2022 Most Inspiring Teachers (MiTs) of the Republic of the Philippines during the 2-part awarding ceremony in Dumaguete City on August 6 (22) organized by the Saceda Youth Lead School, Inc. (SYL) which is chaired and founded by Mr. Dave G. Saceda.
As non-governmental youth organization, the award-giving body has been giving awards since 2013 to individuals who have become local role models of inspiration for many students and co-educators. They offer opportunities for leadership development, community service, and exchange programs in order to enable students and professionals in the ASEAN region to become capable citizens.
Also present in the ceremony were the prominent panel of evaluators from the academic community, public and private sector, marginalized sector, and others who, themselves, are great leaders in various fields including Former NORSU President Dr. Henry Sojor, Former Isabela Governor and COMELEC Commissioner Madam Grace Padaca, and Gawad Henry Lopez Bayani Pilipino & Family Values National Awardee Sir Zacarias Mansing.
