CATBALOGAN CITY – As one of the ten (10) State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) in Region 8 to be visited by the Department of Budget and Management Regional Office VIII (DBM-RO8) for an on-site validation, Samar State University (SSU) welcomed DBM Regional Director Imelda C. Laceras and party on April 25 (22).
According to Dir. Laceras, the aim of the visit is to validate the extent of the implementation of some identified capital outlay projects and other related programs and projects of the University.
Dir. Laceras and party were ushered by the University President Dr. Marilyn D. Cardoso, Acting Vice President for Administration and Finance Dr. Gina U. Españo, Dr. Estrada, Deans, and some administrative personnel as they inspect the premises and facilities of SSU Main and SSU Mercedes Campuses to validate preparatory works and procedures being undertaken by the SUCs relative to their FY 2023 budget proposals.
