CATBALOGAN CITY – Faculty and students of Samar State University (SSU) – Basey Campus could now utilize the Multi-Purpose and Sports Center after its turn-over ceremony, inventory acceptance, and blessing on March 8 (22).
A thanksgiving mass was held to commence the activity followed by the blessing of the new building.
The ceremonial ribbon cutting was led by the University President Dr. Marilyn D. Cardoso and assisted by the key officials and campus coordinators.
Basey Campus Director Dr. Tomas Bañez acknowledged the people who were behind the success of the center’s construction.
The new building has a sports center, faculty office, and classrooms provided with white board, tables and chairs. It can also be utilized as a venue for indoor sports, trainings, and seminars.
