CATBALOGAN CITY─ Samar State University (SSU) celebrated Dr. Marilyn D. Cardoso’s 2nd term through a Rededication Ceremony held on November 20 (21) through a hybrid platform, limited face-to-face and virtual via zoom and facebook live.
Gracing the event is no less than the Commissioner and SSU’s Chair of the Board of Regents, Dr. Aldrin A. Darilag and party.
This year’s ceremony is anchored on the theme: Profectus Et Triumphus (Celebrating Progress, Triumphing Excellence, a sequel of the theme of Dr. Cardoso’s Investiture in August 2016 which is Virtutem et Profectus (Courage/Power and Progress) Celebrating Excellence, Accelerating Progress”.
The torch bearer’s message during the momentous event began with gratitude, continued with report of accomplishments, and ended with aspirations and future plans for the University, for the province of Samar, and for the entire Philippine nation.
“I pledge to introduce the many possibilities we can explore as part of the University’s Future Proofing Plan anchored on Futures Thinking,” vowed the University President.
And as SSU celebrates progress, development, possibilities, and opportunities hoping to sustain organizational excellence, Dr. Cardoso, made a plea to everyone to join her in the journey towards progress and towards a better world for all.
