CATBALOGAN CITY – Fifty-two (52) faculty of Samar State University-College of Arts and Sciences (SSU-CAS) attended the CAS Instructional Materials Enhancement and Retooling Activity on Academic Policies on September 28-30 (21).
The event was held simultaneously in two (2) different venues to ensure that health protocols are followed.
The faculty were divided per program: (1) Bachelor of Science in Psychology (BSPsych) headed by its Chairperson, Dr. Mae V. Cañal, (2) Bachelor of Science in Information Technology led by Mr. Erickson L. Niego, (3) Bachelor of Science in Information System (BSIS) supervised by its Chairperson Dr. Maryjes G. Calades, and (4) Bachelor of Science in Statistics (BSS) chaired by Mrs. Sheryl N. Jabonete.
Serving as speakers were CAS Dean, Dr. Florabelle B. Patosa; CAS Academic Activities Coordinator, Dr. Nathalie Ann A. Acosta; and College of Engineering (COEng) Dean, Engr. Meddy A. Mangaring.
The outputs per program will be consolidated and presented on October 4-6 (21) during the Crafting and Critiquing of Comprehensive Personnel Development Program of SSU.
