CATBALOGAN CITY– Two (2) vehicles have been delivered by Toyota Tacloban, Leyte, Inc. to Samar State University (SSU) on June 1 (21) and another one (1) to come to service SSU and its stakeholders.
After going through the bids and awards process, which Toyota Tacloban, Leyte, Inc. has been declared the Lowest Calculated and Responsive Bidder, and complying with the needed requirements, the University was granted an authority to purchase three (3) motor vehicles including a 1.45M Multi-purpose vehicle, 1.5M pick-up, and the coming 4M Mini-bus by the Department of Budget- Region VIII.
The motor vehicles will be used for official purposes only. Specifically, for mass transportation of personnel/visitors for activities related to education, tourism, and other official functions. They are also intended for heavy field use in rural and remote areas and for general urban use, especially for SSU’s delivery of extension services to communities in Samar.
A car blessing has already been serviced. And now, the vehicles are ready for use as SSU continues to innovate, build, and serve.
