DOST-TBI Network features SSU’s Dr. Moya

CATBALOGAN CITY – Samar State University- Technology Business Incubator- Local Alliance of Marine-based Businesses and Food Technology’s (SSU-TBI-LAMBAT’s) Project Leader, Dr. Vivian L. Moya, was featured as one of the seventeen (17) women leaders in the Department of Science and Technology – Technology Business Incubator (DOST-TBI) Network and one of the eleven (11) women project leaders among the thirty two (32) TBIs under the Philippine Council for Industry, Energy & Emerging Technology (PCIEERD) of the department.

In support to the celebration of the Women’s Month, the DOST-TBI gave recognition to women who are “transformational, passionate, and committed to help the startups in their respective TBIs”.

Dr. Moya was tagged by the department as the “Beauty and Best” as she led SSU to top the patent filing and commercialization of intellectual property, thereby receiving the Platinum Award from the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHIL).

As a woman who catwalks the talk by helping startups amid Covid-19 surge, Dr. Moya of SSU fitly embodies this year’s Women’s Month theme, “Juana Laban sa Pandemya: Kaya!”
