SSU-HRMO’s webinar explores mental health in employees

CATBALOGAN CITY – Samar State University (SSU) continues to meet the growing demand for mental-health services of its employees caused by the pandemic by hosting a Webinar on Employee Stress and Mental Health on December 9-10 (20).

Before the year ends, the Human Resource Management Office (HRMO) through the HRMO Learning and Development Services, offered a free webinar promoting mental health in the University anchored on Goal 1 to Make Safety, Health and Well-Being of SSU Personnel, Students, and Other Stakeholders as the top priority stipulated on SSU’s Resilience and Business Continuity Strategic Plan Amid Covid-19 Pandemic.

Grounded on R.A. No. 11036 or the Philippine Mental Health Law, a mental health program was developed in the University, and one of its frontrunners is the abovementioned online seminar for SSU’s teaching and non-teaching staff and personnel.
