CATBALOGAN CITY – Seven barangays of Catbalogan City received free 10 gallons of moisturized chlorine-based hand sanitizers from Samar State University (SSU) tonight, March 20.
A representative of each barangay claimed the hand sanitizers from the group of researchers who formulated these disinfectants.
The barangay officials will facilitate the distribution of 500ml hand sanitizers for each household to maximize the number of beneficiaries.
The hand sanitizer is composed of distilled water, chorine, glycerol, synthetic lemon extract, and pure calamansi crude extract which is possible to formulate within the day.
The faculty-researchers will continue the production tomorrow to provide assistance to more barangays.
