SSU deploys sprayers in combat vs. COVID-19

CATBALOGAN CITY – Samar State University (SSU) through the Office of the Student Affairs and Services (OSAS) bought a minimal number of Agricultural Sprayer to be used in disinfecting the University premises both in the Main and external campuses, and to strengthen the SSU Bantay COVID-19 program.

The knapsack sprayer has 16-liter capacity enough to sanitize a wide area of concern.

Engr. Ma. Lourdes P. Amante, Vice President for Student Affairs and Services, said that this is one way to prevent the virus from persisting in the air for up to 3 hours and for 2 to 3 days on stainless steel and plastic surfaces.
