Samar State University (SSU) was announced as one of the representatives of Region VIII for the National Invention Contest and Exhibits (NICE) 2020 on March 3-5, 2020 at the SMX Convention Center Aura, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.
The recently concluded Regional Invention Contest and Exhibits (RICE) winners from SSU were chosen by the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) among the many inventions presented nationwide.
The following will be competing for the contest:
Outstanding Creative Research: System of Thermal Regulation and Preferences (STRAP) by Raven C. Tabiongan
Outstanding Creative Research (College): GSM Based IV Fluid Level Indicator with Tracking System by Nelson Bathan, Jr., Homer Galaroza, Dennis Manicani, and Engr. Jon Alvin Macariola (Adviser)
