Faculty and student researchers who have gained recognition for their Research and Extension Exemplary Accomplishments received awards and incentives on September 2 after the Flag Ceremony at the SSU Gymnasium facade.
The grant incentive is given to faculty and student researchers whose papers qualify in the SSU Rewards and Recognitions Manual (pp. 27) under the Awards/Incentives for Research and Extension Exemplary Accomplishment, seconded by the BOR Resolution No. 23 s. 2018 entitled Approving the 2018 Revised Research and Extension Manual of the University.
Winners of the recently concluded 2019 Regional Invention Contest and Exhibit (RICE) were awarded with the incentives. To name some were Engr. Raven Tabiongan who received P10,000.00 for placing 1st and Engr. Nikko Floretes taking home P5,000.00 for placing 3rd.
The University recognizes the accomplishments of the researchers to encourage everyone in the University to also innovate and make their own research.
