Extension promotes health and wellness

 

CATBALOGAN โ€“ The College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) Extension Office through the Psychology Department supported health and wellness program (HWP) at Brgy. Ibol, July 20 (18).

The HWP is one of the activities under the Psychosocial Well-being Enhancement project of the college to help participants not only to be free from illness but also achieve optimal wellness to subdue stress, reduce the risk of illness, and increase positive interactions.

Talks on health and wellness, promoting mental health, and psychological first aid captured the entire day as discussed by Ms. Ruby Grace Pacolor – a registered nurse and a psychology instructor, Ms. Junelle Guerra – assistant training coordinator, Ms. Andrea Del Rosario โ€“ psychology instructor.

Twenty (20) participants and six (6) faculty facilitators were present during the activity and participated the open forum facilitated by Ms. Abigail Cabaguing.
