Catbalogan City – Samar State University (SSU), through the initiative of the SSU Personnel Association (SSU-PA) headed by Dr. Esteban Malindog Jr., organized a gathering for the 60th birthday celebration of the Samar 2nd District Representative, Congw. Milagrosa ‘Mila’ Tan, last February 25, 2018 at the COED Function Hall.
Dr. Marilyn D. Cardoso welcomed faculty, staff, students and guests at the start of the event.
A simple bouquet of flowers and cake were presented by the SSU-PA officers to the representative of Congw. Tan.
To stir up the celebration, winners of 10 shirts, 10 five-hundred-peso cash, 2 electric fans, 4 television sets, and 2 sacks of rice were chosen through a raffle draw.
In closing, Dr. Laura B. Boller, SSU Coordinator of the affair, gave her word of thanks. She emphasized the generosity of the celebrant who has supported the university in all its endeavor.
