SSU accepts SNS’ invitation, orients Senior High

Samar National School, Catbalogan City – The career guidance center received an invitation from the SNS OIC, Department Head of SHS, Mr. Griv Brown V. Aguirre, to take part in their Career Day Seminar today, January 24, 2018, 8 a.m. for Grade 12 learners and SSU responded by sending a representative in the persona of Ms. Marico Betonio, a faculty in the university.

Ms. Betonio presented the vision and mission statement of the university and the programs offered by the institution. She also enumerated several reasons why Senior High students must choose the university including the free tuition because SSU is an implementer of RA 10931 known as the Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act. She also talked about the competent faculty who have won recognitions both nationally and internationally to encourage students what kind of instructors they may have. The opportunities for the students of the university like being able to attend seminars and competitions all over the Philippines and to have the privilege of going to other countries abroad was brandished by the SSU representative.

“You can take the entrance exam anytime from Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.,” she announced.

Among the other stakeholders who were present in the SNS Social Hall were Samar College, St. Mary’s College, ABE and ADFC.
